  • May 18, Thursday: Brookings Convention & Visitors Bureau Annual Tourism Luncheon. 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. at the Swiftel Center in Brookings. RSVP by May 4, 2017.
  • May 23-25: Safety Week at the City & County Government Center in Brookings. Commissioners may participate in activities: Fire Alarm Drill, May 23 at 3:00 p.m.; Shelter in Place Drill, May 24 at 3:00 p.m.; Severe Weather Drill, May 25 at 3:00 p.m.
