The Brookings County Board of County Commissioners met in special session on Thursday, July 18, 2002, at 5:00 pm with the following members present: Sara Kneip, Don Larson, and Barb Telkamp.  Also present were Brian Miller, Bob Rysavy, Mary Negstad, and Randy Hanson.

Vice-chairperson Sara Kneip called the meeting to order and declared the agenda approved.

Motion by Larson, seconded by Telkamp to accept the low bid of Mills Construction in the amount of $51,994 for the third floor remodeling project in the Courthouse.  All voting “Aye”.

Motion by Telkamp, seconded by Larson to approve the change order dated 7/15/02 to the County’s current contract (#1105-0057) with Johnson Controls to accommodate the third floor remodeling project in the Courthouse.  The change order costs are not to exceed $38,360.  All voting “Aye”.  Be it noted, the change order was caused by the remodel project in the Courthouse.

Motion by Telkamp, seconded by Larson to adjourn the meeting at 5:15 pm.  All voting “Aye”.
