Location: 300 Blk of West 4th St White, SD

On the above date and time, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office, White Fire Department, White Ambulance, Aurora Fire Department, Volga Fire Department, Bruce Fire Department, Brookings Fire Department, Elkton Fire Department, Sinai Fire Department, and Brookings County Emergency Management responded to the 300 block of west 3rd street in White, SD for a structure fire. Once on scene, it was discovered the structure was a residence and fully engulfed. The owner of the home was able to exit the home but was transferred to the Brookings Emergency room by the White ambulance to be treated for unknown injuries. The home and its contents were reported to be a total loss. The incident is under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
