Location: US14/477th AveDriver: Mohamed Hassan, 53of Shakopee, MNVehicle: 2006 GMC C6500 Box Truck
On the above date and time, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office, Aurora Fire Department and Brookings Ambulance responded to the above location for box deliver truck which had rolled. It was found Mohamed Hassan, 53 of Shakopee, MN had lost control of his delivery truck, entered the ditch and rolled. This event caused the truck, which was hauling a bulk delivery of Amazon packages, to spill into the ditch. Hassan was taken to the Brookings Hospital by the Brookings Ambulance for unknown injuries. The event caused an estimated $28,000 damage to the truck. The United States Postal Service from Sioux Falls and Brookings did respond to the scene and collected all packages from the scene. It is unknown how many of the package were damaged in this incident.
